    Interfaith Week Flag Raising

    The London Borough of Barking & Dagenham invites our local community to join us in celebrating the beginning of Interfaith Week on 11 November. This special occasion highlights the positive contributions of various faiths to our community, fosters a deeper understanding of different religious beliefs, and acknowledges the common values we share.
    Deputy Leader Saima Ashraf and local faith leaders will deliver speeches, and students from Gascoigne Primary School will perform short musical pieces to mark the week.

  • Sunday 17 November

    Watford Interfaith Pilgrimage to six places of worship in Watford.

    Watford and District Synagogue, Nascot Road. 11.30 – 17.00
    Pilgrims will assemble at 11.30 am at the Watford and District Synagogue in Nascot Road, Watford and will then walk to the Friends Meeting House Central Mosque, Al-Zahra Centre, Holy Rood RC Church, finishing at St Mary's Church in Watford High Street at around 5.00pm. You can come and go as you wish, or drive between places of worship.

    Light for Leeds

    Abbey House Museum, LS5 3EH. 12.00 – 16.00
    Representatives of all faiths and none join together in this annual celebration of what we have in common, in the Gatehouse Community Space. Featuring singing, a chance for contemplation, food, stallholders and an opportunity to join us on our dusk walk to the Chapter House to close the day. Drop in, free.…
